Roach - Nicodemis

Nicodemis Roach was born June 18, 1836 in Hendricks Co, Indiana. His father was Samuel Roach from Alabama; his mother was Eliza Harris from Ky. N. Roach married Mary Cox in Greencastle; she was born 29 July 1852 in or near Christenburg, Va. Her parents were Samuel and Druzilla Cox. Nicodemis & Mary Roach had eight children: Anna (my grandmother- I do not know who wrote up this article- Karen Zach) ; Edgar; Everett (disappeared by 1907) Noah; Charles; Ora; Amanda; Lilly (Smith). Nicodemis & Mary Roach moved from Stilesville to Elmdale (N of Crawfordsville around 1900).
Anna Roach marr. John Nicholson. Nicodemis Roach was killed by a street car 27 Sept 1907. N & M Roach, Anna and John B. Nicholson are all buried in Masonic Cemetery, Crawfordsville, Indiana.
